Used 17 to 15 gauge needles to access the patient’s sites and took labs. Maintained excellent hand hygiene and always used proper PPE per policy and procedure. Made sure the patients always felt comfortable by answering questions and providing education on dialysis related topics. Worked with a team to ensure the safety of our patients. Took water cultures once a month to provide the best water for our treatments and patients, along with daily tests to maintain adequacy of our water system.
