Interests

Interests and volunteer activities: reading, travel, music, Zumba, dance, running, and biking. Previous volunteer at the Senior Center, and Meals on Wheels.

Accomplishments

  • Initiated a new safety team with improved communication that significantly impacted safety and education around workplace violence in the Ambulatory setting, and improved operations.
  • Currently I have teamed up with the Trauma Informed Care Task Force to pilot the first study initiating TIC to our outside hospitals to improve staff well-being and incorporate into patient care.
  • In process of becoming certified in Trauma Informed Care to join in this national initiative.
