Additional Information
I am an educator with over 15 years of experience in various settings, including special education, early intervention, and classroom teaching. I have a BA in Elementary Education from Wheeling University, where I also earned degrees in Theology and Psychology with an emphasis on developmental and child psychology. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family, travel and be outdoors.
My passion is to create and deliver hands-on lessons that engage students using multi-sensory learning, problem-solving, and exploration. At St.Michael Parish School, I taught grades K-3 and contributed to the development of the curriculum and school-wide projects. I also have skills in lesson planning, youth ministry, and grant writing, which I have applied in different contexts and projects.
I strive to embrace the whole child in engaging, challenging and active learning experiences using multi-sensory and scaffolded learning approaches. I look forward to joining a teaching team that works collaboratively to build and sustain a positive learning environment that emphasizes both academics and social emotional learning.
