As a baker I was in charge of preparing and doing the morning bake-off, decorating doughnuts, filling the cases, following recipes, baking and filling orders, answering the phones, taking orders, customer service, cleaning, communicating to the others staff what tasks needs to be accomplished and creating and happy work environment. I am very good at multitasking and time management as I was running the mixers, ovens, portioning out ingredients, and customer services at the same time. Over the years that I worked as a caregiver, I work with individuals with ages 15 to 104. I have worked with many different people who had a varying range of needs. Needs that ranged from severe Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Dementia and Alzheimer's. I was in charge of personal hygiene, emotional support, transportation, housekeeping, meal preparation and overall health and wellness of my clients. I enjoyed getting to know each my clients and their families in order to know how to best support their daily needs. I found my love of caregiving by working at Lions Camp Horizon. I worked there for 10 summers and worked my way up from Counselor in Training to Assistant Camp Director. I made lasting friendships with the campers and their families and was able to work with some of them outside of camp
