As I prepare to teach Science, Math, and Technology within Early Childhood Education at Manhattanville University, I bring with me a philosophy grounded in the principles of the Responsive Classroom approach. I prioritize social-emotional development alongside academic learning, fostering inclusive classroom communities where learners feel safe to take risks, explore, and make sense of the world around them. I have had the joy of teaching on many different grade levels at Fox Meadow Elementary School. I have taught kindergarten, first, second and third grades. Throughout each of these experiences I have had opportunities to:
