Jennifer Douglas

I have been a middle and high school math teacher for 22 years and an Instructional Coach in a high school for 2 years.. I loved my time in the classroom, getting to know so many students over the years, and continuing to be a positive influence in some of their lives even to this day. My dream in high school was to become a assistant principal of a school to better help students and teachers continue to grow and succeed. So far, that dream has not come true but a new dream came to light-being an Instructional Coach. I enjoy working alongside teachers and students to help implement ways to better improve student learning. Teaching teachers how to implement different strategies, along with data-driven instruction, is critical for student success. I do my best to actively listen to the needs of those around me and try to figure out ways to make teachers lives easier and come up with ways for teachers to improve their instruction. I am a team player, a good listener, problem-solver, patient, positive, and a great communicator. I thrive on helping others and finding ways to make students succeed. to the best of their abilities.
