Jennifer D. Watts

Greenwell Springs,LA

Summary

My name is Jennifer Watts and I have been a Registered Nurse for almost 19 years now. Nursing was embedded in me at a young age watching my grandmother care for my grandfather who had had a stroke and my aunt with my child (cousin) who was born with cerebral palsy. Growing up I've always known that this is what I was going to be, and I craved the knowledge and expertise to be able to help people live the best life that they could. Through my journey as a nurse, I have gained a multitude of knowledge, experience, and skills as well as growth as a person in general.

I am a compassionate nurse with experience offering comprehensive patient care in inpatient and outpatient environments. I have and do work well with diverse patient populations and fosters trusting relationships to improve outcomes. In all aspects of my career I have efficiently coordinated with healthcare professionals to advance patient care.

I am extremely dedicated with a progressive career history in direct patient care, triage and care coordination in fast-paced environments. I have proven to remain calm under pressure and skillfully handle difficult patients and high-stress situations. I consistently develop strong relationships with patients and families through empathetic communication, respectful attitude and excellent customer service.

Most recently I graduated earning a Masters in Nursing for Family Nurse Practitioner and just recently passed the exam to receive my ANCC certification. I'm ready to begin this new advancement in my career and I look forward to new opportunities for growth.
