• Responsible for preparation of mortgage loan closing packages and sending to title along with Final CD once loan is approved by underwriting.
• Review of title commitments, property survey, purchase contracts, tax certificates, insurance, etc.
• Input of mortgage loan data into the document preparation system in order to produce the necessary documents for the closing package.
• Responsible for preparation and balancing the Closing Disclosure and disclosing the Final CD to the borrower within 3 days before the projected closing date.
• Responsible for ordering wires as well as reviewing the fully executed closing package and authorizing funding.
• Work with Post-Closing department to obtain any post-closing issues that may arise after closing.
• Closing experience with FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA, TX Bond loan programs and residential constructions loans.
• Preparation of legal closing documents for residential loans for various clients (Portfolio and Secondary Market).
• Preparation of legal closing documents for Interim Constructions, Lot Purchases and Commercial transactions for various clients.
• Review of Loan Estimates and preparation of Closing Disclosures prior to closing.
• Review of executed documents and approval of transaction for funding to the Title Company.
• Work with Lender to clear any post-closing conditions that Investors may have in order for loan to be purchased.
• Preparation of Modifications and Extensions for Construction to Perm loans.
• Work closely with Attorneys for preparation of specialty documents related to portfolio loans.
• Review loan documents and underwriting instructions for VA, FHA and Conventional purchase and refinance loans.
• Prepare closing instructions and packages for Legacy Mortgage to send to various Title Companies.
• Fund loan once Legacy Mortgage gives approval.
• Reviewed loan applications from new customers and entered all information into system. Determined if additional conditions was required prior to sending to underwriter.
