Collaborated with district teams (Coached 1 team per year) statewide through the Arizona Department of Education to drive systemic change by using data-driven analysis to develop targeted literacy plans. Established sustainable, short- and long-term goals with built-in progress monitoring and provided comprehensive professional development for classroom teachers and interventionists.

Consulted with and analyzed data from school districts and sites with various levels of management and stakeholder teams to determine training priorities and needs. Created short and long-term professional development plans for district and school-level teams to help with school improvement smart goals and student success outcomes as measured by data including Benchmark assessments and standardized state student achievement data, demographic data, process & program data, and perception data.

Fostered an inclusive, collaborative learning environment by designing engaging lessons in music theory, history, and performance etiquette. As a K-6 Music and Orchestra Teacher, I organized rehearsals, coordinated concerts and special activities, and provided targeted feedback to help 400 students master their instruments and/or develop independent musical skills. I also mentored students in composition and performance, collaborating with colleagues to nurture a lasting passion for music and the arts.

Developed and delivered engaging, AZ standards-based ELA lessons while differentiating instruction for diverse learners. As a Special Education Case Manager, I coordinated individualized education plans (40+ students) in 9th-12th grades, monitored progress, and collaborated with parents, administrators, and support staff to provide targeted individualized support and ensure student success.

As a Head Start Community Transition Specialist and Federal Grant Writer, I planned community and parent engagement events, managed public relations for Bear River Head Start, generated monthly grant reports for transparency, and prepared applications from corporate and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services to secure essential funding.

(EDUC 6560 Language & Literacy Development, Disabilities, & Intervention: Children 3-5) developed and taught evening and weekend classes/lessons for Kindergarten readiness for Bear River Head Start in conjunction with and housed at Utah State University.
