Responsible for: IV admixture of fluids, chemotherapy and hematology medications to be administered while patients receive ambulatory care; maintaining drug and supply inventories and adjusting for changes in usage; Auditing and reconciling administration records and pharmacy dispensing records for proper documentation and billing, investigating and correcting errors; working with colleagues to maintain organization principles and ethical standards; collaborating with providers and administrators to offer highest quality of care to patients. Partner with management in the training and education of new employees as well as the ongoing training of current employees, scheduling and assigning shifts. Collaborating with management to develop, write and implement policies and procedures. Regular education direction and oversight of my direct team. Assist with the management, education and administration of clinical research studies. Project management as necessary for efficient and accurate treatment of our patients.

Responsible for IV admixture of fluids, PCA’s, epidurals, antibiotics, chemotherapy and maintenance medications to be administered while patients receive in-patient care. Filling and dispensing oral prescriptions for patient discharge. Maintaining patient profiles in electronic medical record. Maintaining drug inventory and reconciling dispensing reports from medication dispensing cabinets. Filling and dispensing employee oral prescriptions.
