· When called upon in Day Reporting and Reentry, I act as lead person; this includes supervising staff, training new staff on criminal registration and determining client eligibility into the program.

· Teach Anger Management to court ordered clients.

· Supervise activities to include, interviewing, determining approval for housing and transportation for the clients, and drug urinalysis.

· Assist with addressing the needs of the clients and enforcing court ordered requirements.

· Communicate on behalf of the staff and assist with complex cases.

· Respond to client concerns.

· Monitor supervision conditions, provide non-clinical counseling and guidance, tender community resource referrals, offer recommendations to the court, attend court hearings on behalf of the agency, and assess risk and needs of offenders for the control/supervision and protection of the community.

· Develop, implement, and oversee community programs aimed at addressing various social issues, such as homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health.

· Coordinate with local government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders to identify needs and gaps in services.

· Provide supervision and guidance to program staff, ensuring adherence to program goals, timelines, and budgets.

· Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis, surveys, and stakeholder feedback, and make recommendations for improvement.

· Training new hires.

· Responds and provides professional investigation to allegations of abuse, neglect, maltreatment, substance abuse and/or abandonment of children.

· Makes contacts with families regarding allegations of abuse, neglect, maltreatment, substance abuse and/or abandonment of children.

· Conducts interviews, risk/safety assessments, and home studies to address issues raised; determines findings.

· Conducts diligent searches to locate emergency placement with relatives or other appropriate persons in cases where children have been identified as at risk; conducts diligent search for parents and/or relatives as applicable to each case. Conducts relative, non-relative and home studies prior to establishing emergency placement.

· Develop and present status reports to court authorities; responds to and provides required documents for file petitions; attends and testifies at depositions, trials or other court functions as required.

· Controls exit and entry to doors, hallways, elevators and sally ports.

· Reviews procedures for response to emergency situations and contacts designated personnel in case of an emergency.

· Monitors in-house radio transmissions to maintain an awareness of activities in other areas of the assigned facility.

· Monitors safety of deputies, visitors, and inmates.

· Accountable for all keys, restraining devices and all other emergency equipment assigned to the post.

· Uses a computer terminal for data input and retrieval of different inmate information, as applicable to assigned functional area.
