EMG Signal Acquisition Circuit Design Project:
Designed and implemented an instrumentation filter to amplify and condition the raw EMG signal. Developed specific bandpass filters to isolate frequencies corresponding to muscle movements (50 Hz to 150 Hz). Integrated the filtered signal with an Arduino microcontroller for signal processing and analysis. Programmed the Arduino to interface with a stepper motor, creating a responsive feedback system then connected it to a mechanical hand made from cardboard and string. Demonstrated the functionality of the EMG circuit by controlling the movement of the mechanical hand in response to detected muscle activity.
