I have been a nurse in the state of Kentucky since 2010 beginning my career with an Associate’s degree and returning to school to receive my BSN and then my MSN degree in Nursing Education. I have worked in different areas of nursing throughout my career including medical-surgical, emergency department, critical care, cardiac rehabilitation, supervision, quality/risk management, informatics, developmentally disabled persons and administration. I now have 14 total years of nursing experience but also worked in healthcare as a nurse aide for 6 years prior to obtaining my nursing degree which gave me invaluable insight to patient care and team work.
