Opened up a vendor booth inside The Gilded Nest, offering home goods, and gifts for sale. I change displays showing seasonal décor, everyday table décor, and bookshelf décor, along with gift items. By changing out the décor and displays, it offers inspiration for others to duplicate and purchase items for their home.

As Program Director, I was responsible for researching, scheduling, and implementing weekly programming for women who have experienced sexual exploitation that attended our groups. I was responsible for connecting with local agencies and/or volunteers to aid the women in practical, physical, mental, and spiritual growth opportunities. I scheduled volunteers that provided daily lunches and communicated details concerning our weekly needs. Built relationships with women and offered support on a one-on-one basis. Helped several women set up their homes with used or donated items to create a space for them to call home.

Established and ran all the operations from day-to-day sales, hired and scheduled employees, and delegated tasks to keep the business running. I was the sole buyer of products for the store, creating the vision of a welcoming place that draws customers in. We placed a high priority on customer service, which proved to be valuable in our loyal customer base. I assisted customers with decorating in-store, as well as taking product to their house, and styling their home. Sold the store in October 2019.

I was a retail associate, checking customers out, as well as helping customers with their decorating needs. Helped unpack, price, and display the product. Assisted the owner by organizing paperwork from vendors, keeping up with all claimed items, communicating with vendors, checking for credit status, and disposing of damaged items.
