With over 18 years of dispatch experience, I excel in emergency response and adaptability. I have demonstrated expertise in coordinating critical communications and technology setups, significantly enhanced safety protocols with the CAD system checklists to ensure all calls are handled the same. My ability to remain calm under pressure and foster teamwork underscores my comprehensive skill set. I am skilled at learning new roles quickly such as assisting with data reports, open records, history reports, new personnel profiles, new computer and phone installations, new employee permissions for software and app installations, and adapting to changing demands. My ability to train and mentor new team members on radio operations, equipment and software use is valuable for ensuring effective communication and operational efficiency. My hope is that this can also help in the leadership role to improve the atmosphere of the DOC and establish a training program to ensure that all dispatchers old and new, are practicing the same tasks exactly the same. I have an ability to quickly adapt to new environments and am eager to contribute to team success and further develop professional skills and establish a more effective communication relationship between the DOC and the maintenance personnel to ensure after hours call outs are handles in a timely manner. I will bring a positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning and growth to the team.
