Volunteer Experience

  • The Ability Awareness Panel (within my current company’s ERG group), 2023, Present, As an Advisor and Advocate on the panel, I assist the employee with disabilities on how to more successful in their daily work tasks. I provide input on the resources that are available to those with disabilities. I raise awareness for Neurodiversity. I have spoken to Leaders and Mangers on how they can better assist their employees with different abilities.
  • The International Lions Club, 2017, Present, I assist in gaining more members to our local club. I help with fundraising events for the local club and for families that may need assistance. Lions Club focuses on helping in the community and assisting families with obtaining glasses and hearing aids. One of our big fundraising events in help blind and low-visioned children attend a Lions Kids summer camp for free. I public speak and speak out to the many local clubs. I discuss disabilities and we can better assist those that are disabled, primarily the Blind and Low-Vision.
  • Lebanon Winter Wonderland, 2018, Present, I am volunteer for this community project. We provide a “Christmas in the Park” each year. We help fundraise to purchase the Christmas Lights to put on display each year for our local park.
  • Individual Mentoring and Public Speaking, 2017, Present, As a Disability Advocate, I speak out to those in the neurodiversity community. I try to raise awareness with the general public and educate those that need assistance with resources that can be available to them, to help promote independent living in and outside of their home.
