  • Created and generated the semi-annual or annual gauge control schedule for all outside calibrations and make sure all certifications are up to date.
  • Help support the internal and external audits by assisting the engineers, staying for overtime to catch up behind gauges, and answering any questions that may arise.
  • Ordering of new or replacement gauges and most supplies needed for the gauge lab.
  • Handle the calls to have technicians come in for any repairs throughout the shop and the sending out of the smaller gauges that need to be repaired.
  • Renew the contracts with outside companies for their services, whether it's them coming into MACI or us sending gauges to be calibrated.
  • Handle most of the Non-Conforming Gauge Reports from start to finish.
  • Most experienced in answering any gauge questions or concerns that come into the lab by associates, office personnel, or management.
  • Responsible for maintaining MQ1 to make sure all gauges are up to date and done correctly.
  • Make sure all paperwork and certificates of calibrations are kept organized, up to date, and accessible if needed.
  • Collaborating with Team Leader, Supervisor, and Assistant Manager to form procedures for MQ1 data entry and for the calibration of gauges so that Gauge Control will be compliant with MACI policy.
  • Coming up with time and money-saving improvements for the gauge lab and many other departments throughout the shop.
