Program Manager & Health Coach

  • Created the PowerME Vitality Program alongside the Chief Medical Officer, COO, medical director and other company stakeholders. We developed the core concepts, content, implementation strategies, and distribution methods for the program with the goal to assist participants of the program in reversing metabolic disease, reclaiming health, and improving health outcomes long-term.
  • Coached patients of the clinic, which included one-on-one health and lifestyle motivational coaching, content creation to support the patient experience within the Vitality Program, and develop and teach in-person and virtual classes in the realm of nutrition, movement/exercise, stress, sleep, mindset, and relationships.
  • Improved systems and content within the electronic medical records for efficiency and needed documentation, and collaborated with coaches and providers to create uniformity and consistency within the program.

  • Pitched the idea, sought the funding, and developed doTERRA's corporate newsroom to provide quick accessible news and information about doTERRA corporate and global for media and customers.

Government Affairs: Lobbied the Utah Legislature and other Utah elected officials on behalf of Alliance Solar and the Utah Energy Solar Association to protect the interests of renewable energy.

o Successfully negotiated and lobbied to renew the Utah Renewable Energy Tax Credit.

Sales Compliance & Marketing: Worked with sales reps to determine their needs and streamline processes; managed messaging among the reps to be in compliance with regulation and industry standards; worked with the design team to create and edit marketing materials and website content.

Relationship/Project Manager: Managed the relationships between partner companies, sales reps, customers, and site surveyors in California and Utah, and between customers, installers, city officials, and the office.

Customer Service Department: Designed customer service protocols, trained customer service and permitting representatives, created system for site survey, developed database tools for tracking customer data, permitting, installation, and the system operation.

o Obtained an appropriation from the state to create a partnership between Microsoft and the school districts of Utah for grades 9–12 to create the IT Academy.

o Defeated legislation that would significantly restrict search among SEOs and other like providers such as Comcast, Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, etc.

o Obtained an exemption to the Mandatory Generic Drug Substitution law pertaining to Medicaid patients with an organ transplant or with a mental-health diagnosis.

o Created and passed legislation to allow Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) in Utah for government and non-profit entities to purchase rooftop solar under a PPA.

o Passed legislation that created a revolutionary approach to government RFPs, allowing private business to submit a proposal to offer a service to a government agency.

● Worked with the Legislature’s legal counsel to draft and interpret legislation; communicated and worked with the state legislature, governor, agencies, city/county mayors and councilmembers, and others to understand the intent of such legislation.

● Developed coalitions, conducted research, and created material to emphasize proposed legislation/positions.

Hobbies and Interests

I love spending time with my three daughters and spend as much time in the outdoors being physically active (running, dancing, camping, climbing, mountain biking, paddle boarding, and skiing) as possible. I have completed multiple road marathons, including the Boston Marathon (2017, 2018, 2020, 2023), many ultra marathons (50k to 100-miler), including six 100-mile mountain races. I am passionate about the human body and human behavior, and continue to study human psychology, physiology, nutrition, movement, herbs, and natural methods to heal the body.
