- As the Business Spare and Lead Inventory Controller, I was responsible for maintaining $24 Million of Dow Chemical’s MRO spare part inventory, which is managed in 15 virtual and four physical warehouses.
- I am well-versed in SAP and all Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Duties include ordering parts from hundreds of different vendors, creating repair work orders for repairable parts, inventory analysis to determine possible inventory reductions as a cost-cutting measure, and running various reports in SAP for use in inventory management.
- During my time as the Business Spare Inventory Controller, I was able to streamline our work process and increase efficiency through utilization of script-generated reports.
- Through careful scrutinization, I was able to adjust our order points which resulted in over $300,000 of savings during the first year alone.
