Role: Worked in direct patient care starting on Joseph3G, which was a 23 bed inpatient Medical/Hospice until the summer of 2019. In 2019 this unit was moved to Domatila4D and became a 39 bed Medical/Hospice unit. In 2023 I joined the Virtual Care Enterprise to provide support to the bedside. Through these years I worked in a collaborative setting to care for adult patients hospitalized with acute and/or chronic medical conditions; sometimes complicated by severe comorbidities. Was responsible for the management of medications and assessments of these assigned patients. Able to trend/monitor patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions when indicated. Worked in a team setting and utilized delegation to allow for a cohesive, therapeutic environment for my patients and other staff members. Finally, was able to help ensure my patients physical, emotional, and spiritual needs were being met by using a holistic and compassionate approach.
