In November of 2020 the Executive Director of Incarnation Center approached me to design and open a new elementary school for the local student population. I was given just under 3 months to create the school and curriculum, learn the ins and outs of the admissions process of a private school, and recruit a minimum of 4 students. Two weeks before our first day, I had 5 registered students, grades 2nd-4th. After the first month I had recruited a sixth student. Of the six students, I retained four for the next 3 years, and I currently still have one of the original students attending my school.

• Student population has doubled since the first semester in 2021.
• Servicing grades K-6 presently, with plans to expand to include grades 7-8 beginning in the fall, 2024.

• Designed and oversaw all school and summer camp programming and curriculum design.
• Doubled the number of booked school programs within the first 3 years of employment.
• Increased school program revenue by 22% in my 4th year despite very large, state-wide budget cuts to schools.
• Increased summer camp enrollment by 40% by my fifth summer and expanded the camp from 2 programs to 5 camp program offerings.
• Coordinated with local schools and organizations to bring educational, hands-on experiences to the students throughout the year.
• Used NGSS and Core Standards to guide curriculum development.
• Supervised and trained 30+ seasonal staff annually and 10-15 part-time teachers throughout the school year.
• Oversaw a day camp for children ages 4-16 (about 200 children per day in the summer).
• Created a new preschool camp in 2015 which is still the most popular day camp program in the area since it opened; all 10 sessions are often waitlisted by March each year.
• Designed and expanded teen summer camp programs and created a counselor in training program similar to a student teaching experience.
• Managed budgets.
• Designed and executed marketing strategies and ads.
• Oversaw daily operations and building upkeep.
• Worked closely with community organizations, developing community-based outreach programs.
• Developed and implemented team building and anti-bullying activities.
• Provided professional development programs for schools, hospital staff, and other community organizations.

*I am currently only the summer camp director still from this job. During the school year I work full-time at the Steward Outdoor Day School, another program/department of the Incarnation Center.
