Underwrote Conventional Mortgage Files for Wholesale Lending, making the decision to approve if all conditions and documentation were satisfactory to Guidelines and Policies. Once all conditions were received, I placed a final review and full approval for the file. It was then cleared to close by my Underwriting Assistant. I also reviewed any files that came back from closing, such as loan amount changes, sale price to purchases, PITI, DTI changes, etc. We had selected files for inside QA audits, which I did extremely well on.
Additional Miscellaneous Responsibilities: Answering all emails from customers by the following business day. Reviewing any rushes or back-from-closing files immediately or referring them to the team led by the Assistant Processor.

Submitted orders for new files, manually ordering Flood certs, Title searches and Appraisals. I then processed and monitored the files. I reviewed all vendor items, Flood, Appraisals and Titles. I was also responsible for updating files when appraisals came back lower than expected, calculated the loan-to value and determined the highest available approval amount. Then I closed out the file, booking and recorded the file.
I also uploaded documents to an e-Filing system to record the deed of the Trust/Mortgage and cut checks for recordings on counties not available for e-File.
