Adept at transforming visions into memorable events, I leveraged my expertise in logistics management and vendor negotiation at FIG Restaurant to significantly enhance event experiences. My proactive approach and ability to adapt quickly ensured smooth execution and a notable increase in guest satisfaction, underscoring my commitment to excellence in event organization.
For the last 20 years, I have volunteered at a local non profit in Northern RI called Adopt a Family, where we assist families, struggling financially, to buy Christmas gifts for their young children. We promote and solicit donations from the community to connect them to these children. I look forward to this opportunity each year, and eventually was elected President of the Board, taking on more responsibilities to execute the logistics of an intricate operation.
I enrolled in URI Continuing Education to earn a certification in the Master Gardener program. We chose a specific volunteer program, to educate and assist the community in responsible environmental practices. I was thrilled to work with High School students in their outdoor classrooms, where we planted and harvested food for local soup kitchens.
