  • I have experience teaching different grade levels, including second, third, and fourth.
  • I am responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing content across subject areas including math, reading, writing, phonics, science, and social studies.
  • I served as the team leader for a fourth grade team;, my responsibilities included planning field trips, ordering supplies, and representing my team during administrative meetings.
  • I have worked on various curriculum writing teams where I helped to create units of study for math, reading, writing, science, and social studies using the backward design model.
  • I am trained in both Responsive Classroom and restorative practice which allows me to effectively establish a strong classroom community, mediate student conflict, and meet the social/emotional needs of all my students.
  • -I am TEAM certified. As a mentor, I have coached beginning teachers as they completed the required program for our district.
