Advance Practice Provider, Hospitalist, responsible for rounding within a level one trauma center. First group of APRNs within the University Hospital system to have admitting privileges. Patient population consists of internal medicine, geriatrics, and palliative care. Proficient with electronic medical record charting, order entry and management, patient hands on assessments and lab and imaging interpretation. Work in collaboration with physicians, residents, nursing and ancillary staff to provide high quality care to patients. Highly skilled with delegation, organizational and time management and use of evidence-based practice.

Undergraduate and graduate instructor within the School of Nursing. Working with students, nursing, faculty and staff to provide evidenced-based education and care to students and patients. Capstone instructor managing and leading students through their last semester of nursing school. Preceptor to Advance Practice Nursing students within the clinical setting.

Provide comprehensive medical exams and medical opinions to current and retired veterans. Detailed disability and physical exam documentation.

Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner/Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner. Performing sexual assault and interpersonal domestic violence exams to patients who have been victims of rape, domestic violence, or assault, working in close relationship to Louisville Metro Police, emergency room staff, and local advocates. Provide key education and connections with advocacy services and local resources. Demonstrating critical thinking skills, effective communication, and highly trained assessment, documentation, and evidence collection skills.

Advance Practice Provider within Gynecologic Oncology department. Responsible for performing assessments, diagnosis, procedures, and providing patient education for GYN/Oncology patients with new and recurrent cancer. Provider in house for chemotherapy patients at Brown Cancer Center. Proficient computer skills with electronic medical records (AllScripts and Cerner). Highly educated with the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to delicate tasks within the clinic and continuously working with other providers on a professional level.

Advance Practice Provider within Medical Oncology department. Responsible for performing assessments, diagnosis, procedures, and providing patient education for Medical Oncology patients with new and recurrent cancer. Provider in house for chemotherapy patients at Norton Cancer. Proficient computer skills with electronic medical records (Epic). Highly educated with the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to delicate tasks within the clinic and continuously working with other providers on a professional level.

Staff and Float Pool Nurse performing hands on patient care, physical assessments, charting, medication distribution, delegation, working with fellow nurses, nursing assistants and physicians on a daily basis, performing patient education, using nursing skills to communicate and provide care to patients.
