  • As the Plant/Operations Manager, I am responsible for the planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing processes
  • I ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality
  • I have been able to enforce the use of Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, HACCP, and I created a master sanitation program for the entire facility
  • Part of this job is to write SOP’s and conduct employee training to ensure that the company is in compliance with regulations
  • I prioritize, facilitate, and supervise operational activities in all Cellar, Maintenance, and Bottling departments
  • I am also responsible for generating maintenance, dry good, and cellar supply requisitions for yearly purchases

  • I track and monitor on-going safety meetings, conduct annual Forklift, Confine Space, LOTO, Pesticide, Respirator, and First Aid/CPR training for all company employees
  • Along with safety, and equipment training; I also conduct leadership training to upcoming Supervisors and Operation Leads to provide them with tools to motivate, support, and build positive, effective working relationships with their teams
  • I update the Hazard Communication Plan, Lockout/Tagout Plan, and Evacuation Plan
  • I conduct safety audits to the Operations and Bottling departments to recommend continuous improvement to eliminate safety hazards and accidents
  • As Site HR liaison, I successfully manage 45-80 employees, including their hiring, termination, writing disciplinary actions, shift scheduling, handling personnel deficits and their disputes
  • I review, update, and input daily time sheets
  • As the TTB Compliance, I am responsible to oversee that work orders are properly inputted, and that the reconciliation of the month end inventory is properly completed
  • I am responsible for finalizing the month end TTB Reports
  • Experience and strong knowledge of BRC and IFS specifications
  • As the Air Pollution Control Board liaison, I am responsible for reporting daily and monthly tank temperature reports, and I meet with the inspectors once a year during the annual tank emissions inspection
