I joined the Danbury Police Cadets program in the Spring of 2018. I got promoted to Explorer first class, then skipped the second rank and moved to Sergeant's third rank. In 2019, I became the Co-Committee for planning special events for our program, like our annual awards dinner in February, Holiday Parties, Picnics, and a Prom for the class of 2020 that didn't get to go to their prom. In 2020 at our Awards dinner, I got elected to be the Post #33 President. In this program, I've accomplished so much earning many awards for promotions, certificates of community service, proficiency awards, awards of merit, certificates of tenure, perfect attendance awards, and certificates of emergency preparedness award. In March of 2023, I got elected once again to be the Post #33 president. With that being said, this program has not only seen me grow into who I am today but motivated me to accomplish more of my goals and helped me decide who I am and what major I want to study, which is Nursing. I'm very excited to continue 1 more year in this program until I am the age of 21 to age out and later become one of the advisors of the program and give back to the new joining Cadets.
