Summary

As a first-generation college student with 6 ACES, I am extremely proud of what I have accomplished. Growing up, my childhood was chaotic to say the least. My dad is now a recovering alcoholic, and my mom was addicted to prescription pain medications. She is no longer with us. I have two disabled sisters, one for whom I am power of attorney. Chaos was around every corner, as there was no day without mental and emotional abuse. Seasoned professional with a strong background therapeutic settings, proved by impactful roles. At Child Guidance Resource Center, a high school student joined the Job Corps after two years of tardiness, and that’s not the only part. A single mom who was in an abusive relationship learned how to budget juggling four kids to get her own apartment. The ability to create personalized treatment plans every 30 days to ensure insurance receives it and can still meet with the family. At Keystone Human Services, helping a participant with ASD and intellectual disabilities, learn how to identify when it is safe to cross the street while budgeting in the community. Compassionate professional in mental health and addiction counseling, known for high productivity and efficient task completion. Possess specialized skills in cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and patient assessment. Excel in empathy, active listening, and communication, utilizing these soft skills to facilitate client progress and recovery.
