• Provide specialized care for children with diagnoses of prematurity, torticollis, developmental delay (0-10 years old), brachial plexus injury, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, chromosomal abnormalities, and complex chronic conditions
• Effectively educate caregivers on their child's strengths and instruct them in a concise, productive home exercise program with hands on learning to ensure confidence
• Created multiple exercises with photos of children and instructions to assist caregivers to be successful in their implementation
• Created and assisted in facilitating group programs: group gross motor class for toddlers and children with developmental delays and tummy time class for infants
• Provide care in collaboration with other specialists (nurses, OT, SLP, physcians) including:

NICU follow up team for preterm and high risk infants (Current)

Early identification team for children with higher risks for autism (Current)

Orthopedic care for children with neurological diagnoses

Preschool Program for children with developmental delays

• Collaborate with therapy team to stay current on evidence based practices

• Provided explanation and clarification on treatment techniques and testing measures during orthopedic and neurological labs with first to third year physical therapy students
• Implemented a Pediatric Seminar for third year PT students that including instruction in thorough evaluations, hands on treatment, and appropriate home exercise programs

• Worked within a rotation among in and out patients including orthopedics, acute care, and neurological rehab providing care to facilitate recovery and improve function
