With 17 years of expertise, I have served as an inspirational figure and encouraging role model to individuals with diverse needs. My military training and discipline have prepared me for a leadership role, where I successfully supervised and conducted training sessions. A sudden transition to becoming a full-time mother of neuro-atypical children has provided me with numerous situations that required patience and problem-solving skills. This experience has also allowed me to assist other exceptional individuals who require compassionate people skills. As an expert in leading and supporting individuals in overcoming challenges, I am skilled in conducting continuous assessments, formally and informally, to identify behavior issues. I have a talent for adapting lessons in creative ways to highlight learning strengths. Above all, I am committed to providing an orderly atmosphere, calm environment, safety, and structure while teaching individuals how to adapt to their surroundings.
