Working in collaboration with Dr. James M. Dorchak, supervising physician, to provide patient centered care in the field of Gynecology. Perform well women's exams with paps, while ensuring each patient is up to date on preventative care such as mammograms, DEXA scans, and colonoscopies as appropriate for their age range. Prescribing contraceptives, and or hormone replacement therapy as appropriate for respective ages; and diagnosing and treating URO-GYN related issues.

• Assessing patient needs, clearly communicating diagnosis and treatment plans to patients and families.

• Informing patients and families on disease prevention and health promotion.

• Worked in women's health services providing counseling on reproductive issues and assisting with family planning needs.
• Educated patients about reproductive health issues and dispensed contraceptives.
• Assessed and treated STDs in both males and females.
• Explained medications and side effects to patients, family members and caregivers and thoroughly reviewed physician-ordered tests.

• Assisted the Master of Science in Nursing Program
• Liaised between faculty and students to answer questions and optimize faculty time.

• Performed patient assessment, VS monitoring, IV insertion and other routine procedures and documented in electronic medical record to support interdisciplinary care.
