Responsible for the economic and efficient operation of large- to very large-sized club facilities and activities. Implements higher level directives, formulates procedures and programs to ensure high standards of food and beverage, recreational and entertainment/promotional programs. Manages real property resources and provides expert advice on renovations, improvements, minor and major construction.   • Provides support to management in planning, organizing, and overseeing activities of 450 personnel in the Force Support Squadron (FSS) with direct oversight of unit training, readiness, and plans functions.
  • Ensures that functions assigned to the Operations section comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
  • Develops goals and objectives that integrate organizational and flight objectives.
  • Establishes, revises, or reviews policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organization design for the entire unit, as necessary to eliminate work problems or barriers to mission accomplishment, promote team building, implement quality improvements, or in response to concerns with regulatory compliance and/or customer requirements.
  • Implements the organization self-inspection program; reviews formal inspection reports, audits, complaints, and other reports to ensure adverse findings are addressed/corrected within the allotted time frame.

The plan includes but is not limited to Home Station Readiness Training (HSRT), Career Development Courses (CDC), On the Job Training (OJT), and Customer Service training for civilians and military members.
  • Coordinates with the Manpower (FSMM) section to make sure unit authorizations support Unit Type Code (UTC) manpower and Mission Capability (MISCAP) requirements.
  • Oversees Installation Personnel Readiness (IPR) to include tracking of accountability and reception processing supporting military and federal employees during contingency and crisis operations, ensuring UTC and Unit Manning Document (UMD) mismatches are identified and resolved.
  • Monitors and evaluates operating units and activities to determine compliance with applicable regulations, directives, procedures, and policies.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and evaluates actual and/or potential problem areas in flight activities, drawing from trend data and knowledge of the organization.
