  • Served as the Southeast District (SED) Commander for the Raleigh Police Department. Responsible for approximately 100 sworn officers and one civilian employee, approximately 30 square miles of Raleigh, and a diverse population of approximately 80,000 residents.
  • Implemented a strategy that reduced homicides and violent crime causing the SED to not lead the city in homicides for the first time since the district system began.
  • Worked with local, state, federal, and private partners to eliminate four key problem spots in the district resulting in a safer environment for the local residents and officers of the SED.
  • Performed in areas of varying and increasing responsibility as a Lieutenant, Sergeant, and Officer prior to being promoted to Captain.
