5th Grade Dual Language Spanish GATE 

• Planned effective instruction in English and Spanish. Created and maintained a high level of engagement through lessons that support all types of learners. Facilitated field trips to The Griffith Observatory, CA Science Center in LA, La Brea Tar Pits, and Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena.

4th Grade

• Continued use of 21st Century skills, CGI, Google Docs, ELD/SLD scaffolding strategies to differentiate content through Reading Intervention, Thinking Maps, TAPPLE, RTI, SMART Spelling, Vocabulary Development, Accelerated Reading, ST MATH, Math Groups and support materials.

4th Grade 

• Applied differentiation of content through Reading Rotation, UA, Thinking Maps, TAPPLE, RTI, SMART Spelling, Vocabulary Development, ST MATH, Math Groups and support materials. 

• 5/6th Combination Classroom: Differentiated core content through in a combination classroom. Hosted several PTA, and 6th grade parent meetings in my classroom. Coached students at our school who participated in the OC Math Challenge.  
• 1st Grade: Maintained math and language arts groups at all levels including GATE and newcomer students.
