The CGM Bear Project, championed by my students in the 'Making For Good' class, earned the Community Recognition Award from the Cape Coral mayor for its national impact on children with Type 1 diabetes. Their efforts were also spotlighted on a local news channel, with interviews featuring my students, amplifying awareness and the positive impact of the project.
