Jeonggyu Maeng

I am a dedicated and driven individual with a strong interest in community engagement, education, and kinesiology. As a bilingual speaker, I have successfully bridged language barriers through roles such as document translator for my church, where I helped make important materials accessible to a wider audience. I have also honed my communication and leadership skills through various teaching experiences, including instructing middle school students in pre-algebra and SAT math at a local after-school program. Additionally, I have worked with older adults at my church, teaching them to navigate technology and use accessibility features on smartphones and Google Docs. My volunteer experience at Nilal Summer Camp, where I communicated with peers with disabilities, has further refined my ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds and needs. I am passionate about pursuing a career in kinesiology and am eager to contribute my skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving to initiatives like the ConnecTEEN program. I am committed to continuous personal and professional growth, and I strive to make a positive impact in my community through service and learning.
