Working at Publix as a grocery stocker helped me get out of my shell in terms of being more confident and comfortable when talking to customers. I also had to keep everything organized and pay attention to where I was stocking the merchandise. When building furniture at HomeGoods I have to follow the steps given with the fixture to assemble it correctly. In addition I also learned how to read a tape measure and used power tools like a drill and impact also hand tools. Playing sports like soccer has taught me how to stay focused and disciplined also what it means to work hard on and off the field.
