I am an active duty-duty Marine with the desire to take part in this organization. During my time in the military, I have had the opportunity to work in many different environments with very different responsibilities. This has helped me become a more competitive individual and a great worker while under stress. Thanks to my work ethic, I was appointed as a Platoon Sergeant which provided me the responsibilities of being directly in charge of 30 Marines. This was a great opportunity to learn how to communicate more effectively while ensuring all tasks were completed.
I have also been in an instructor position since the beginning of 2021. This has shown me how to teach and help others achieve the learning they require in order to become proficient at their jobs. Additionally, it has helped me become more effective with my time since I would have a workload before during, and after the classes. even with the long hours I still very much enjoyed it since teaching others is something that comes naturally to me.
I was directly responsible for all ammunition operations for all live fire ranges across my unit. This includes tasks like requesting, managing, transporting, and retrograding all ammunition and expended brass. Additionally, I was directly responsible for all proper documentation regarding ranges and ammunition transport for 10 years. Additional tasks were training all Marines across the unit on proper management and handling of ammunition, inspecting vehicles to ensure they were capable of transporting ammunition and explosives, and determining the logistics of the operations to ensure they had all the assets they required to have a successful mission.
