Teen Afterschool Program

• Managed and supervised a teen outreach after-school program
• Coordinated and planned engaging activities for teens, fostering personal growth, (actively encourage and support the development of one’s own skills, knowledge, and understanding) and community involvement.
• Provided essential resources and mentorship to teens in need
• Led and mentored a team of staff members
• Monitored and ensured the well-being of all participants, addressing individual needs and providing emotional support as necessary.

Events:

• Collaborated and coordinated with local organizations to plan and carryout city-wide events, enhancing community engagement
• Large Events: MLK Day of Service, Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration, Juneteenth, She Speaks Women’s Day,
• Teen Events: Hallow-Teen (Carnival-style Halloween party for teens), Teen pool parties, watch parties, dances, rollerskate nights
• Other: Sensory “Scare” Fair (Halloween celebration catered to children and families with sensory needs)

Programs:

• Kids cooking, adaptive and inclusive cooking, adaptive and inclusive pottery classes, painting and drawing classes.
