  • Metals Production welds parts, cuts threaded rod, laser machine production, and makes metal parts for furniture production including tables and chairs
  • Directed and coordinated production activities, encouraging employees to meet specifications.
  • Interpreted blueprints, schematics, diagrams, sketches, or other technical documents as required.
  • Duties include MIG welding, laser tube cutting, bandsaw cutting, chair frame assembly, taking the wood furniture components and using hand tools, clamps, and adhesives to build furniture frames, plastic vacuum forming, table assembly, pressing metal legs to components and gluing or bolting them into various table tops, and participating in daily company/supervisory meetings to discuss upcoming work and responsibilities, as well as drilling and tapping metal parts on a Bridgeport as needed.
