With 16 years in supervisory and training applications solely directed to residential, commercial, and heavy industrial electrical engineering and installation, Inspection and management. I will dedicate 26 years of combined electrical, instrumentation, control, and fire alarm experience as well as numerous projects at Red Dog Mine, nuclear facilities, oil & gas drilling, transfer, process, pipeline work and refinement, solar field & steel mill experience to the production, inspection and management of your electrical department.

• Extremely knowledgeable and understand fully how to interpret aspects that govern a quality installation to include engineered specifications, details, UL, NRTL that would supersede the current NEC.
• Clear understanding of Article 500 in the NEC that governs classification and hazardous boundaries. Extremely important when performing inspections for API (American Petroleum Institute).
• Very knowledgeable during the start up and commissioning phase too include the ability to understand and interpret the HART communicator, various loop drawings, schematics, and one lines to efficiently and effectively locate and test a system.
• Excellent in all phases of pre-planning, design and engineering prior to execution to include various processes such as IFR, IFA and IFC.
• Knowledgeable in understanding and have the ability to aid in the verification and revisions, if needed, to contractor work packages, submittals, QCP's (Quality control plans) and safety culture.
• Proficient in creating and completing documents with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint for the input of contractor production and Quality Control related Data.
• Ability to ensure compliance with client Quality Control Plan (QCP) through inspection and testing of construction/fabrication.
• Ability to resolve non-conformance issues with equipment and construction practices that will not create a large impact to productivity or budget
• Extensive hands on experience in the Industrial Electrical Field at Petrochemical Facilities, Power Plants, and Industrial plants
• Extensive knowledge of applicable Codes, Standards and Details that govern the Electrical Instrumentation and Fire/Gas Alarm installation for ConocoPhillips, British Petroleum, Tesoro, and E&I.
• Engineered, installed, and commissioned transformers, switchgear, motors, power & lighting panels, heaters, air handlers, compressors, light fixtures, cable tray, cables, and conduit in 24V through 13.8KV applications.Installed and commissioned fire alarm systems: control panels, fire suppression, gas detection, notification appliances, annunciators, signaling line circuits, and detectors.
• Adjustable speed drives: Mitsubishi, Power flex, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Cutler-Hammer installations.
• Expert at reading blueprints, one-line diagrams, general arrangement, power & control & instrumentation layouts, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, piping & instrument diagrams, and schematics.
• Assembled, installed, programmed, and commissioned control panels and programmable logic controllers. PLC's include: Delta V, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Fort Davis.
• Proficient in Class 1 Division 1 and Class 1 Division 2 hazardous installations.
• Large electrical knowledge base from Electrical Superintendent, General Foreman, Foreman and Electrical Journeyman positions.
• Reliable communication with client and coworkers which creates safe, effective project goal-standard completion, thereby meeting expected budget and timeline.
• Strong team player with valuable leadership skills.
