  • I find it necessary to explain why I have left seemingly good jobs while being successful. I am currently at 1-800 RADIATOR & AC. While I am extremely successful, there is absolutely zero room to grow, no promotions to achieve and my pay is the lowest I’ve made in over ten years. @ CONCRETE DRIVEWAY CO. I was hired as a salaried Outside Sales Account Manager with commission also added in the compensation plan. After about a half of a year they changed the compensation plan so that all Outside Sales positions were paid commission only, that’s not what I signed up for. @ Google I was a Senior Account Manager managing territories in Huntsville, New Market, Madison, and Harvest. I was selling Google fiber (fiber-optic internet sales), YouTube TV, & paid Google Voice accounts. For 2 ½ years I made 7-9K a month with my commissions/salary combined. Out of the blue Google changed how they valued accounts pertaining to commission and I lost 3-9K a month. I was their all time sales leader and grew their market more than anyone in huntsville’s history. I tried dealing with it but when I didn’t get the next promotion (lack of degree), I knew it was time to keep looking for my forever job. I realize this section isn’t standard resume etiquette but sometimes the standard format just doesn’t provide the space you need to tell the whole story. I am a well versed sales account manager with a refined skill set that just wants to find a position that allows me room to grow, offers a fair salary and a fair commission structure that doesn’t call for the goal post to get moved if someone is very successful. I’ve been an outlier everywhere I’ve been. I don’t want to move around anymore, I want somewhere to grow, somewhere with a high ceiling and room for me to excel. Thanks for your time-
