
As a receiving clerk I checked/unloaded incoming shipments. This includes verifying that the correct amounts and types of items that were shipped and inspecting the goods for quality. Also was responsible for updating inventory records and ensuring that stock levels are maintained. I organized items in the staging area to ensure easy access and proper storage. I handled paperwork related to received goods, including matching purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists. Ensured that all deliveries are accurately recorded. Communicated with suppliers and drivers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments. Reported problems to supervisors in a timely manner.
