  • Lead prosecutor in daily court calls in traffic courtrooms at Daley Center and 26th and California, averaging 50 cases each day, and responsible for the argument of all dispositive motions, both written and oral, addressing and resolving discovery issues, and evaluating the strength and trial readiness of each matter in light of time constraints in accordance with the Speedy Trial Statutes
  • Independently decided which cases to offer plea bargains on and which to take to trial, on a case-by-case basis based on factual evidence, strength of case and a defendant's criminal history
  • Represented the Department of Health and Family Services in matters involving parentage and establishment and enforcement of child support
  • Conducted civil contempt hearings to enforce court orders and child support agreements in Child Support Enforcement Unit
