I spent four months in Shreveport, LA as an Operation Technician Intern, gaining knowledge of plants, pipelines, and other daily work. Some of the things I did include:

• Ensured regulatory compliance by regularly reviewing organizational policies, procedures, and operations.
• Maintained and repaired production equipment and pipelines to support efficient operations.
• Gained knowledge of Plant flow and Daily operations

I currently run an 11,000-acre ranch while attending school. We have 2,000 cows and 500 yearlings that I take care of. During this time I have:

• Mended fences in disrepair to prevent livestock from wandering off and to keep predators out.
• Herded livestock using horses.
• Branded and tagged livestock for proper identification and security when lost and stolen.
• Maintained equipment and ranch structures.
• Repaired equipment and animal living spaces.
• Fed cattle every morning before class.

Throughout high school, I got a welding degree and started my own welding business. Where I:

• Welded in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Maintained a clean working environment by consistently organizing tools and equipment, and promoting workplace safety.
• Demonstrated versatility in various welding methods including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core Welding techniques.
