  • what i do as a line cook is i mostly prep food with my team for the day and even during service so were prepared for the week and when the doors open i go to my pantry station where i prepare salads and deserts that are on each ticket in symphony with the rest of the food that goes out to the people and its always a nice clean look to what im sending out to the the customers because we are a really high end restaurant that couples and business people go to and it is my favorite thing to create these amazing plates of food that people get to enjoy and come back wanting more.
  • Ensured freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
  • Organized the storage area to ensure that all necessary items were readily accessible.
  • Performed basic knife skills such as dicing onions or slicing meats.

  • as a cook at this golf club we had a small staff with 2 servers and me as the only cook leaving me to learn how each food item went together and manage the grill saute and oven and dish washer all by myself while making sure everything was up to date and that the food went out exactly how the customers wanted in a fashionable time
