I oversee and manage the day to day operations at the Ogden asphalt plant. Scheduling plant personnel, and operating the plant at times. Keeping the plant calibrated and running efficiently to keep operating costs down while producing the highest of quality asphalt. Meeting all specifications & requirements of different mix designs. For all the asphalt needs of intercompany and outer company paving crews. Responsible for the loading out and ticketing of all asphalt sales. Setting up the daily orders in our ticketing system. Making sure all different types of mixes we are producing, are loaded onto the correct trucks of customers and ticketed correctly. Also making sure the trucks are loaded to their correct weights.

Managing all the maintenance items that arise. From the daily breakdowns to preventative & scheduled winter maintenance. Creating a detailed winter maintenance schedule & budget. That addresses all the needs of the plant for the next season.

Manage aggregate inventory for the plant. Keeping a good supply of all different types of material needed to produce asphalt.

Manage silo asphalt inventory. For overnight storage and customer needs.

I work effectively with fellow team members in fast-paced, dangerous and intense environment.

I have attended the Gencor and Astec asphalt plant training schools multiple times. As well as the Hauck burner school.
