  • Increased PM&J/Wuxi apparel overall plan by +36% through diversifying company artwork capabilities via trend research, market analysis, and diversified art handwriting, positioning PM&J as a sleepwear category leader.
  • Achieved upside in January ‘24 from Target ordering the remaining blanket sleeper (Cat and Jack) units + Colsie set orders written early due to strong sales in both brands
  • Additional shipments were added to the forecast for the rest of the year, and Apparel continues to be our healthiest department performance, resulting in a 10% sales increase YTD.

  • Developed and executed unique designs for multiple women's and juniors' brands, including Arizona, Worthington, St. John's Bay, Liz Claiborne, Ambrielle, and a.n.a., as part of the company's rebranding initiative.
  • Worked on assignments provided by the internal art director for RTW and conducted research on color and artwork trends.
  • Creating original art for juniors, classic sleepwear, intimates, and wear-to-work apparel, including abstract prints, ditzy florals, geos, animal prints, and camo, to name a few.
  • Collaborated with internal teams in the creation of yarn dye plaids, allover yarn dyes, and graphics as per specific requirements.
  • Worked on Christmas and Valentine's artwork for their Sleep Chic brand, creating season/trend-appropriate conversational prints, and adhered to JC Penny's tight calendar timing.
  • Pushed new ideas for Halloween while being aware of internal creation and trends, blending my handwriting to fit internal art needs.

  • Over a 15-year tenure, worked to provide researched designs through online, national, and international travel to bring authentic and exciting textile design influences on a variety of Target's owned brand apparel in men's, women's, and kids' categories.
  • Textile lead for the launch of Goodfellow & Co. brand which became Target’s fastest-growing men’s brand reaching over $1B in yearly sales in 1.5 years
  • SWAT designer, with the task of temporarily taking any brand and position within the apparel teams.
  • In this role, one must be able to step in quickly, understand the brand attributes, execute designs maintaining a consistent aesthetic for the brand, and carefully document all work continuity of work.
  • Worked with brands in RTW, kids, and men's apparel.
  • Analyzed sales and market trends to create a Cherokee graphic table program that delivered guests' trend needs through vintage embroidered graphics, distressing, raw edge appliques, and oversized screens, pushing the brand's aesthetics in the marketplace.
  • Partnered cross-functionally to coordinate the product development process, to ensure aligned brand vision, communicate with vendors, and streamline development. This resulted in best-in-class sales for multiple brands.
  • Reduced team workload by creating clear design road maps that ensured all art was pre-merchandised, this reduced the amount of artwork sent to vendors, resulting in less spin and dramatic cost savings for the vendor and Target.
  • Provided production expertise to problem-solve costing challenges and innovate artwork through new techniques.
  • Worked to launch the industry-leading/controversial Pride merchandise at Target
  • Partnered with the LGBTQ community to recognize guest needs that created a focused, relevant assortment for the guest
  • This resulted in the segment over-performing and significantly beating retails forecasts by 20% YOY (year over year)

A Bit About Me

I moved to New York City from the UK

To pursue my career and passion for textile design. I loved the risk-taking and innovative culture of my new home but have always had a goal of returning home with all the experience I have gathered. I bring the same spirit with me today in driving innovative design for some of Americas most loved brands.

Now I am coming home to be closer to family, to use my experience to get top sales results and fulfill my original goal of gathering as much experience and knowledge as possible, to bring back to the UK.
