During my time as CDC within the Bacari Company, I ran two separate locations. One of which was the downtown location and the last was the beach location in Playa Del Rey. At both of these locations, I was in charge of developing a team and training cooks on the line, as well as assisting the line during service. I input orders for produce and proteins daily, as well as specialty items and kitchen equipment, as needed. I was also in charge of scheduling for both the staff and kitchen deep cleaning. At both of these locations, I provided daily support and conflict resolution wherever it arose. I was also responsible for shift reports and prep lists nightly. I interviewed, staged, hired, and onboarded team members, along with conducting performance reviews for them, and I also have experience planning and running team meetings. My main purpose as the leader of both those kitchens was to motivate and inspire all team members to be the best version of themselves.
