  • I am in charge of the drilling rig controls, watching drill screens, for (torque, rotary, Rate of penetration, flow percent, pump pressures and well control) as well as in charge of a 6 man drill crew.
  • I Supervise the drill floor and line out the rig crew with daily job tasks and maintenance while drilling the well.
  • I check daily on well control equipment, hydraulic pressures gauges that functioned and/or operate the well control BOP's.
  • I keep up with drill pipe count and depth-footage and a log a daily 12 hr report on Pason drill screen.
  • I run a drilling rig which has a electric joystick that operates the drawworks brake on the drill floor.
  • Finally, I trip pipe in and out of the hole up to the drill bit, mwd and mud motors, and watching out for whole swabbing, proper hole fill, and the safety of my crew and the maintenance of the rig.

  • I tripped pipe in and out watching out for whole swabbing, proper whole fill, and the safety of my crew and the proper functioning of the rig.

  • This job was a demanding job and required me to use a hands-free speaking Kohler computer program that logged inventory and grades into the Kohler system.
